After Sales Director

Would you like to lead Jungheinrich Danmark's After Sales Department? We are looking for an After Sales Director who can deliver good results and bring the people and the service organization to the next level.

What will you be doing?

Your role will be to establish Jungheinrich Danmark as the first choice for our customers by creating and delivering a long-term business plan for Customer Service in Denmark. You will set the direction and be responsible for executing the strategy, and transferring our corporate strategies into tangible operating plans and structures. You will be leading a department of around 45 dedicated and skilled employees working in Tåstrup, Horsens, or as external service technicians with support from two service leaders. We will agree whether the working office will be in Tåstrup or in Horsens.

Your areas of responsibility

  • Deliver profitable turnover growth through a collaborative approach with our sales teams
  • Direct contact with key customers
  • Achieve benchmark results, including financial, operational and customer related metrics and measures
  • Create, lead and develop a service sales structure
  • Lead standards, process and policy improvement and development
  • KPI steering, annual planning, budgeting and forecasting
  • Follow-up on weekly/monthly figures and the operational service performance
  • Implementation and follow-up on Group processes
  • Act as a point of contact for central Jungheinrich Group After Sales
  • Create and deliver group wide customer service/after sales initiatives and requirements, e.g. to boost results and operational efficiency
  • Directly lead central functions that will deliver class leading levels of support within spare parts, technical training and support, steering and controlling, logistics systems and service sales
  • Together with the other executives to deliver the 2025 targets

Your profile

  • You have a background from customer service or after sales
  • Very good process and controlling understanding
  • Several years of experience with people management
  • Experience with developing and growing a service organization
  • A good communicator at all levels (technicians, customers, CEO’s)
  • Knowledge of and experience with processes and process improvement
  • Customer focused

You are a team builder who with drive and determination is able to set direction and motivate people to work towards common goals. Besides, you can say yes to the following statements: 

  • You have strong interpersonal skills and an open cultural mind-set
  • You understand the operational structure and processes of a business and can improve them
  • You have a broad business knowledge preferably from technical sales related activities
  • You have a technical understanding
  • You are flexible, open minded, proactive and have high commitment and stress resistance
  • You have a hands-on mentality
  • Your presentation skills are above average
  • Your IT skills are very good, especially with Microsoft Office, SAP is a benefit
  • You speak fluent Danish and English at negotiation level
  • You like to work in a national and international environment
